I've just bought a 2001 Thunderace - can anyone advise the purpose of the 'spare holes' in the top yoke?

Oi Noisy! stop being so bladdy loud ha ha. seeing that your new to the gaff could you pop over to the new member section and give us a little about your self etc.

As for the spare holes, im not too sure on Sports bikes. what are these holes close to? (Speedo, Indicators, clip on bars etc etc) as that maybe a place for stock cables to thread through or location holes to stop some thing spinning. The Dragstar range has some holes drilled in the yoke for a little plastic nipple on the bottom of the indicators to locate in and to help fix them in place so this "might" be what you have???

I *think* Ive sussed the holes - may have been for bar risers, as they are too 'burred' to be a Yam feature.

Time for some mods of my own!
