My latest addiction...again is my 1983 Tri Moto 175. It was sitting in the back of my dad's farm shop for 25 years. It took a little work, but I got that old two stroke running like a champ. Makes me feel 20 years younger to get on that thing and zip around our farm.Got some tweaking to do with headlight, cleaning up the old plastic, etc. Does anyone know if I can take the output wire from the magneto and hook up the headlight direct?

Hi radpro" direct wire[yellow] may blow the bulb,, old bikes had a resistor inline, in the headlight,,,

An 83 should have some sort of voltage regulator, same as the DT175..
