JayCo Posted April 8, 2014 Share Posted April 8, 2014 Hi guys, Does anyone know the specific alloy that the coolant inlet cover off the Yamaha R6 is? (It's this one being sold on ebay: http://tinyurl.com/qzxdenu By the looks of it, it has been high pressure die cast but I can't find the specific material anywhere. I want to know because I'm trying to find out whether you can weld Al 6063 directly on to this. Any help will be kindly appreciated!
