Can a wr426 top end (barrel/piston/cylinder head) go onto the bottom end (crank cases) of a wr400?

Not sure about that - HOWEVER it might be worth getting hold of this bloke to see if it would be suitable..... ebay

I PM'ed him a few weeks ago, sold the engine bits sadly. Got a few other listings im watching and a guys mentioned an old engine in his garage (dont mind if it doesnt work, as long as i can get bits from it/drop in and repair)
