Just want to check with someone more knowledgeable than me if I need to add "lead" to my 1985 YPVS fuel. I can't rememember if we had unleaded back in '85, I think it was still good old leaded fuel. I use 97 RON super unleaded of course. Can anyone advise please?.

As is goes, no! lead never has been needed in 2strokes. It wasnt used in japaneese fuel and super unleaded?. Dont waste your money. Reg unleaded is fine, the super could actually damage the engine.
