hey all......are dtr and tzr crank cases the same, my left hand crank case has chunks missing and neutral gear inicator has been pushed in.

Don't know, you got the right spot with the question. Trouble is you need to say high first in the new members area. What bike, (always a good start). Where you are what your spanners ability is etc.

Folks on here generally leave folks alone that post short. Far too many one post wonders.
