Posted March 9, 201411 yr Hi guys, I've been riding motorcycles since 2001, I've always loved Japanese bikes and had several of them in the past, always fuel injection so endless to say I never had to do any work on them and therefore don't really know the mechanics of it. I just bought a 1977 Yamaha xs400 which was restored. I did notice that once the bike is warm and on idle it tends to die (about 1500 rpm). If I choke it sometimes dies and sometimes goes to 3500rpm. Should I adjust the idle??? Or maybe have the carb recleaned??? Anyways it is great to be here and be part of the club. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
