Chr1s
Hi guys & gals (if there are any) Wonder if any one can shed any light on this I bought my bike a month or to ago but Over the last few weeks my gears have become very stiff and hard to change, clutch is fine, chain oiled and adjusted correctly, could this be bad oil or possibly something worse? Any help greatly appreciated

wild foamy
Make sure you use motorbike specific oil!, if you chuck any old car oil in your bikes' wet clutch will slip due to the additives in the oil which is designed for dry clutches (in cars). Moderator Cynic Posted March 4, 2014 Moderator Share Posted March 4, 2014 Have you oiled the shift linkage/shaft where it passes through the outer case. Bike oil will allways be black because of the clutch.
