Moderator Airhead Posted December 17, 2013 Moderator Share Posted December 17, 2013 what's a verator nut? cant think why you cannot select gears though, what none at all?
mcnamara1710
I took everything off to expose the nut to take off.the nut that keeps the front sproket on.when i put it all back and the gear lever nothing,my bike was stuck in gear and could not shift up or down. Moderator Airhead Posted December 18, 2013 Moderator Share Posted December 18, 2013 it is not possible to select gears when the engine is stopped without rocking the bike back and forth

neversaydie
Normally there is a mark on the splined shaft that needs to line up with the split in the lever Ride it for a couple of days, if its still good, then mark the end of the shaft with a centre pop, where it lines up with the split. That wont wash off
