Posted November 27, 201311 yr just purchased my first bike(well for over 20 years anyway)..an 2012 xj6 n in white. problem is it came with hand protectors on and I had to remove one to get the bike in my shed(ended up dismantling the shed and purchasing a bigger one) any way ive tried re fitting the hand guard back on and the long threaded bar that secures it is just turning in the handle bar im assuming theres a back nut of sorts that is now in my handle bar somewhere that needs to be retrieved?? there is a part that is wedged in the end of the handle bar though, ive give it a light pull but is not moving,i didn't want to force it too much incase its not supposed to come out... any help or advice please
