Could be, change the oil as its a nice cheep fix if its still slipping then may be best to change the clutch. or do the thing i would do and leave it to stand for another 1200 months ;)

Most likely needs a new clutch.

As mentioned, change the oil and see how it goes. Ideally flush out as much of the old crap as possible - There are products for this, but someone else will have to name them.

If you are able, perhaps even strip some of the engine down and physically clean it all up, as you never know what was in there or how messed up and congealed it may have become.

Always try the cheaper fixes first. With a bit of luck, it just needs a damn good servicing and will blaze back to life!

Ignore the dragstarqueen riders, they're too customed-out to see sense....

Change the oil, but you may still need pull the clutch and go over each plate with glasspaper to sort it or as said^^ replace.

Well i plan to take mine to Europe at easter, you guys can bring your 'stars' if you want.

I don't mind the Viggies, had a go on one before I got me Star, but as I am 6'1" I found the Star more comfortable.

I said I *nearly* owned one. Ended up with the 650 Drag instead.

But yeah, I'd get a 535. It would get heavily modded, though - The one I had my eye on looked more like a wicked Streetfightered Hornet than a Cruiser!!

...and I am small. :-)

Thats a helluva admission Mailee" :hah: . yeh these draggy boys are doing a bit o" cock-waving,, :eusa_liar:

Better to have a cock to wave than not one at all.......... :eusa_whistle:

Na to be truthful last night i was on the sofa and found my self on Ebay and was actually looking at viggies, but sadly i could not bring my self to buy one, not sure why :eusa_think:
