89' xt350 Oil??

I really don't want to get into a big discussion here. Oil threads are beat to death. I just want to know what you guys are putting in your ole xt's since 20w/40 is no longer available? Mine is an 89' with about 17K on it. Also has anyone put full synthetic in the thing? Just wondering how it reacted with the clutch. I've been using 10w-40 Valvoline motorcycle oil because it's pretty easily available. What are you guys using?
