Hi guys

all most done with my TZR 50 frame RZ 125 motor project. took is out for a test ride but find its topping out to quick, running a 16 front and 47 rear sproket. Any recomendations where to go with the ratio to help with some topend?

Thanks Gents!

Is there room for a 17 tooth front,[ fouling clutch actuator or casings] , ,either that or drop 2 on the rear,,,, heard you searching for more gears,,,

Depends what you mean by topping out too quick. 47 teeth on the rear is a lot for a road bike.

16 on the front is hardly small. If you have the internal ratios of the gearbox and primary drive with a bit of math you can calculate you speeds @ peak rpm for each gear and choose your preference.

With this engine in a 50 all the std geari.g is pointless.
