Posted August 27, 201311 yr First project out of my garage for Son #1, DT125R. Now son #2 has been rummaging through my shed and the leftovers of the first bike project, and come up with: a complete rolling frame DT125LC Mk1 - all there minus engine, carb, exhaust, radiator. almost a complete DT125R minus frame. Should I rebuild & fit the later engine, forks, yokes, wheel, disc brake etc into the Mk1 and have a kind of Evo? Source a Mk1 engine and rebuild the bike to keep it original? Source a DTR frame and rebuild the later bike...? Anyone got experience of updating a Mk1 and thoughts? Blinkin' kids and their bikes...looks like my projects are on hold again
