Finally after 10 months of blood, sweat and $'s the 1973 DT3 is finished.
I bought it literally as a frame with a box of parts, which included the engine, seat, and tank.
I had to find out what lots of part were as I went along.
Like another member said the Yamaha parts list is the most valuable piece of assistance you can get.

It's been a steep learning curve and have enjoyed most of it, but the final product is far better than I could have imagined.
I was doing it to sell but just cant bring myself to do it, so I'll use it for a little while :-)
Hope you like :-)

Nice job :thumb: I can understand why you don't want to sell it I wouldn't either.

Excellent work there DT3, i know what its like to try and find parts for early DT,s , also the green is my favourite colour.

Shame they dont do metalics any more on trail bikes.
