Hi mike1949 yeah lol I really don't know what to get. Want the best at the right price.that's actually my nick name wallywant as my father used to say I always want every thing. I do try and get it so he is right in a way bless him.

I'd go for the cheaper one as I'm not a fan of the scissor jack type as not overly stable. Both good enough for your XJ6 though.

If you have a mate whose a good welder its fairly easy to make the 1st one, use a trolley jack to operate and it can be made to your dimensions which is useful.

friend had one a few years ago, he sold it on.............. I couldn't justify buying it at the time.
