August 3, 201311 yr http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1000-lb-Hydraulic-Bike-Motorcycle-motorbike-Workshop-Lift-Ramp-Bench-workbench-/251200195084 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sealey-MC365-Hydraulic-Motorcycle-Motorbike-Lift-Ramp-Bench-365Kg-Capacity-New-/200701099600 I'd go for the cheaper one as I'm not a fan of the scissor jack type as not overly stable. Both good enough for your XJ6 though. If you have a mate whose a good welder its fairly easy to make the 1st one, use a trolley jack to operate and it can be made to your dimensions which is useful.
August 3, 201311 yr the ultimate bike lift is an EazyRizer..... IMO http://www.on-bike.com/products_original_red small, compact, drill driven........bloody marvelous piece of kit! one for sale here www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Eazyrizer-Red-350KG-770-lbs-Motorcycle-Lift-/141027064774?pt=UK_Lifting_Moving_Equipment&hash=item20d5de3bc6#ht_482wt_958 friend had one a few years ago, he sold it on.............. I couldn't justify buying it at the time.
August 3, 201311 yr Yeah, looked long and hard at the Eazi Riders, decided against due to the smaller footprint/instablility potential at height. At the end of the day, you pays your money, you takes your choice
