Hey guys, just wondering (as I know many of you have cruisers/had xvs 125s before), im gonna need new tyres for by bike fairly soon...are there any recommendations.

Reason why I as is I had a suzuki marauder which was very very twitchy going round corners when wet (dont help that I weigh as much as a puppy with gas :) ) but made for a very nervous ride..especially round surrey where I live.

P.s im an all weather rider...all season

All I could find from a quick Google:

http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/yamaha/xvs_125_dragstar/00-04/tyres/#tyres

http://www.motorbiketyresguide.com/tyre/xvs+125+drag+star

These will give you an idea of what kind you'd need, so you may find more listed on individual manufacturers webshites.

Avon don't seem to have anything, but Dunlop and Bridgestone may...

Also, I've used these guys for my 125 before. They might offer other options and may even cover your area, as it's only 58 minutes away:

Thanks buddy, I have heard of GS before on my travels...tyres seems so simple but could mean the difference between a great ride or a teeth chattering nervous one :)

I had Heidenau tyres fitted to my draggie, front and rear, rode all year round, couldnt fault perfomance, and excellent mileage. Bought them from Pneus Online, delivered 2 days later, had them fitted by a local motorcycle garage £10 each after I took the wheels in
