Just a quickie.

While tinkering with me cat i had to change three of the dash lights.

I changed two with 12v 1.7w lamps and fitted a 5w one by mistake.

Although the 5w is brighter and much better, will the do any damage being a higher wattage?

wouldnt have thought so aslong as the AMP are the same.

My previous bike was a Cat and shortly after buying it I replaced all the dash bulbs to 5w. Owned the bike for nearly 3 years and put almost 36k on the clock and had no problem from the higher rated bulbs.

Brighter bulbs it is then. Maybe a shade of blue?

really make a differance...

Just a thought before you buy some..

I got mine from work so glad didn't

buy them..
