Hello all well i went out on my dtr today and there was a strange noise coming for the engine/side case sounds like a babys rattle stuck in there haha

Gets worse when hot and not so bad when cold, at first thought it was coming from the head but not to sure now think its coming from the water pump but could be owt, everytime i twist the throttle it happens starting to put it off riding it untill i get it fixed.

The bike runs and rides great can go throw all the gears with no loss in power

any help with be great i will upload a video tomorrow so you can all hear the sound

check the generator housing (the round casing next to gear lever, take the casing off and inside you will see the generator) i had a similar problem there are 3 screws holding the housing in and they had come loose check for wear and if they have come loose use thread lock when you put them back in....
