July 3, 201311 yr DC1-1 Dyna Coils are what most people use for the '82 XJ650J models, apparently. If you experience issues in the rain (usually failing to spark on No 4), you may want to try coating them in liquid tape or something, to give them some proper insulation. They look to be about $160 at JCWhitney, though... Are they usually that expensive? However, be advised that I actually know sod-all about your particular bike and simply Googled the answer
