My name is Javier, I'm from California in the San Francisco Bay Area, I had a 2007 Yamaha R6S that I sold not too long ago, but I miss having a bike! So, now I'm looking at picking up a 1986 Yamaha Radian from a class mate who is asking for $500 for it. The porblem is that it needs a "new cam chain" according to him. I've managed to find one on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-600-YX-YX600-Radian-Used-Original-Engine-Cam-Chain-Guides-1987-/110965355107 but am wondering if this is the one I need. Also, how much of a pain in the ass it would be to do the work myself? What do ya'll say, should I get the bike and do the work myself or skip the whole thing all together? Any feedbaclk would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance!
