Hi guys

I recently changed the main jet on my dt ( up from a 230 to a 250) now it doesn't like to idle it runs for 5-10seconds then cuts out like its flooding.

It runs fine if I keep revving it

Does the main jet affect the idle?

Any help would be much appreciated

Yes the main does afect the idle in a very small way,but not enough to cause that problem. Most likely you have messed up your float height
