Posted June 19, 201312 yr Hello, I have a Yamaha DT125R 1990 and recently my carb messed up and i got another carb but theres a problem. Whenever i start it it doesnt want to idle at all. and when i do get it to idle it will rev up to 6000/8000 revs. Has anyone got any ideas what it could be as me and a friend have cleaned it and followed the yamaha dt manual but it still having this problem. Could anyone help us here, we think it might be reeds but not sure as took them out and they seem fine.
