I needed to get some summer gear because my winter gloves and jacket (even with the lining out) felt like I was going to melt every time I came to a stop.

Spada Vortex Pro Gloves (£60)

These gloves made a big difference, I could actually feel my fingers. I'm even considering using them throughout the year because I've always hated the bulky winter gloves. It fits pretty tight and the the cuff is just the right size to tuck my jacket into. I could actually fill my tank up without taking them off, albeit some skill is needed.

Spada Air Pro Textile Jacket (£109)

I should have bought this sooner. My old jacket had air vents which were great but with the lining taken out, it felt loose. This jacket also has a lining which you can take out, turning those air vents into a tea bag. I kept it in because it was adequately vented. I like the slimline fit on this and it means half my mirror isn't taken up by the jacket arms. It comes with a rain cover which can be stored in the pouch at the back. I took it out because it makes me look like I have a Beyonce ass and feels slightly uncomfortable. Also rated best by ride magazine, if that means anything to anyone.

All in all, both great gear and I recommend it to anyone looking to get some summer gear!
