Posted June 16, 201311 yr Hello everyone! I passed my unrestricted UK motorcycle licence test a couple of weeks ago, and am now the proud owner of a new (old!) 1997 XVS 650 DragStar. Here's a photo: I've already removed the crash bars and footboards and put the stock pegs back on. I'm thinking of starting a thread in the "projects" forum, basically to record my efforts at attempting to become a bit more mechanically savvy, and to try to put right that various bits and bobs which need doing on the bike. Do you think there would be any interest in that? Talking of which, if anyone wants to check out my post in the "cruiser" forum, I would appreciate some help with some squealing noises and smoking exhausts! Cheers Tom
