seems like its very hard to get this right - frequently they don't anticipate the sump catching on the angle at the top of the ramp apparently

The ramps are too short, or the pickups too high, making the angle too steep. That's why it's gotta be a van.

I have a builder's trailer. I use two ramps: one for me to walk up or down and one for the track of the bike. I can't beleive these idiots think they can ride up a 30degree ramp on a harley (doing it on a trials bike would need experience, let alone 400lbs of iron).

I always look at these if i need a laugh.

We loaded my bike onto a Mitsubishi pick-up today , we used a scaffolding plank as a ramp and we got it on and off without hassle- the back of the truck is at least waist height

I think the problem might be trying to do it on ones own, if anything happens it's just you to hold the fucker upright.
