well folks the question was once asked what would be better the xvs or the xv

i have now found out the answer

THE XVS is way better

thats why my xv535 is now on gumtree lol

spent a small fortune doing it up

Im with Gizzy on this, the XVS is a much better bike. Better looks, better motor (albeit near enough the same)

The XV535 just suits tassels studs and all things ugly

Just my opinion

Yet the Dragstar mimics the Harley look which is where tassles and studs originated from?

Bunch of slack jawed faggots round 'here

Riding an XVS makes you a sexual tyranasaur...

which Hardley model does the draggie mimic?

I've always thought the viggie looks squashed length wise.

I guess it would be their softail model. very much a good look alike

Yup, and if you search for the Harley Softail Classic, you will see where the Dragstar Classics lines come from...

The appeal of the Drag is that it's longer and flatter in profile compared to most Cruisers. Add in the Custom looks and you have a sort of 80s image that still looks pretty good today... and the main reason I dislike most other Cruisers.
I was pretty upset that Yammie did not continue with a Custom look for the newer lot, but hey ho - Their loss.

The Viggie does indeed look squished, but it's designed for smaller riders anyway. You can alter a couple of bits to dramatically change the appearance. I saw a Viggie once with small twin headlights, straight flat bars and outrigged footpegs - Looked mean as fuck!!

Tassles and studs can fuck right off, along wth shiny chrome. They are for girls. My old Cruiser was kept so dirty and un-prettified, you'd swear it was half-rat!!

Just the new one that's shiny and that's only because I needed to service it.

Agree about the tassles; I think one can get away with a few studs and some chrome. But it is certainly possible to cross the line into the realm of camp.
