Tfk13
Hi everyone, Just bought a 1977 Yamaha dt 125E (I think...2A6 123cc) as a project bike. The previous owner replaced the wires from the stator but they used solid red color wires and i don't know which is which , it only had a simple kick start wiring, stator - kill switch - coil. I've searched the web for clear pics with no luck. any help or pics would be greatly appreciated.

Tfk13
Hey guys, been away for a while. got back home this afternoon and got started on the bike again. Now i found a 12v stator (from an Indian bike i came across while i was away, a TVS Apache, quite a solid bike actually) and replaced the 6v one, got some wires as well and will try and make a simple wiring harness this evening thanks to Airheads 78 DT125E wiring diagram. Hopefully i can get the bike running tomorrow, fingers crossed. will put up pics of the old 6v stator Speedshop and the new ones too.
