this is my take on this! for more info read thread in the bar (new members asking questions with out an introduction)

I wouldn't go so far as to say I get pissed off In fact sometime's its Quite funny and often it's an honest mistake, I know when I first joined YOC my intro wasn't great. I found the (start a new topic button)

but thought starting a new topic isn't saying hello. I think its quite confusing when your new, if there was a

button that said (say hello here) it would be much simpler and we wouldn't see nearly so many questions in the new members area anyone else got any idea's how to make it clearer to new members, as know i'm guilty of being sarcastic to new members who may have made an honest mistake

please don't take offence by this reply just start again, do an introduction a few lines about you & your interest is all it needs

then post your question's in the relevant forum. The more you put into this site the more you get out.

Sorry Tommy,

Hello Guys!!

My name is Jack, I'm 35 and live in England. I have three cats, well I say I have three cats they are actually my wife's. She had them before we met... Unfortunately I cannot prove the cats actually belong to her. i have though on occasions asked for some king of proof that she is the rightful owner of the aforementioned moggies alas as yet I'm still to receive any hard evidence. Who knows she could well be the local 'cat napper'... Some nights (most) I hear my darling wife, lets call her Ali (as that is her name) sneaking around the house in the wee hours... Usually wearing dark clothes with her head totally covered in a black vale... It's about this time I also notice she is usually (always without fail) carrying a large net ( it's large enough to catch a cat in to give you some idea of the scale)... I hear the door slowly closing and the latch shutting tight. I lay awake for a brief moment thinking "why is my wife ( for ease lets still assume her name is Ali) (which it really is) leaving the house in the wee hours, all dressed in black. Not forgetting carrying a large net ?( big enough to catch a cat in).... I soon drift off into a deep and peaceful sleep... Albeit not helped by my neighbours (i assume its them as the voice does sound mildly familiar) whispering "here kitty kitty" which is sometimes followed (always) with a swishing noise (similar to the noise a large net catching a cat would make)... I awake the following morning and usually (always) am greeted with the fantastic news that one of the three male cats (which I presume are my wife's) has given birth to a fully grown cat (that looks somewhat dishevelled as if it has just been caught... In a large net).. My darling wife always looks so proud of the new born large adult cat.... Alas even in that proud moment I know (as she is my wife) that she looks a little sleepy... As if she has been up all night catching other people's cats (and then portraying them as her own) but I know better than that.

So back to the point... These highway hawk fat pipes will they make my bike sound loud?... Not too loud so I scare away 57 new born fully grown adult cat kittens...

Thanks

Jack

Highway hawk pipes are crap, they'll rust through before you know it. They'll turn blue even sooner. Sure they'll be loud, especially if they ain't got no baffles, but will sound quite harsh and blatty. Go for some Vance & Hines or Cobras. V&H make the cruzers for the 650, which I certainly haven't regretted fitting on my draggie! Fairly reasonably priced too. Don't forget you'll also have to rejet the carbs, otherwise you'll be running way too lean. Hope that helps!

For v&h you could do worse than try customcruisers.com

Give them a ring, quite friendly and they might quote you a better price than on their website.

There's also metriccruisers.co.uk

Happy ridin'!
