I just found another xs850. It's the 2nd one I've owned. This one slips or should I say bangs or slams out of gear when on the throttle Not when down shifting. Only when on throttle. I'm not to familiar with these bikes.

Bent/worn shift fork,possibly engaugment dogs on 2nd gear, driven and drive gear will need replacing as well most likely.
