Hi all

Can anybody point me in the direction of what I need to add lights, indicators etc to my 1975 mx400. ?..........and the vital question is....is it something that someone with little electrical knowlege can do...

depends if your bike has an existing electrical system with a battery and alternator windings (at that age, it will probably just be a kick-start with a coil running directly from the magneto).

adding the lights wouldnt be difficult, you would just need to add switchgear to the handlebars, make some new mounts for your lights and make a wiring loom to connect it all together with a 12v battery, only major problem is finding a reliable way to charge that battery

By a stator and coils from a dt400

And all the other gubbins whIle your at it.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET THE ABOVE...STATOR , COIL ETC?
