Hi All

I'm working on a project to fix a yamaha diversion XJ600 1994 but have stupidly but cheaply bought a 1998 engine with hardly any mileage on it.

Is there anything I salvage off the old 1994 model, everything else was working fine just had to replace the engine (bearing on drive shaft exploded into the engine).

I realize that I need to change the carbs, oil cooler, fuel pump and throttle position sensor , just wondering if I need to change the air box, starter motor and any of the electrics ?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

1st post should be hellow in new members,a bit about youself, iknow nothin about bikes or whatever, just manners.

That said it should be a straight swap, just don't pitch the old motor, untill the new is in and all pluged in.
