As some of you know I'm on the look out for a 2T. If I can I want a bike which has just had a rebuild so then I know where I am with it. A few ads have said needs running in like a new engine. I don't have a clue apart from do not thrash it? What exactly does this mean?

You got it grouch"o. :yeah: be gentle for 500mls , but not too slow with revs. or she"l oil up. just dont red line her, or Labour it,,

So be gentle and do not exceed the speed limit? So a good technique would be just to stick to the speed limits in urban areas?

I ran mine in for about 200miles, riding like a bitch stopping away from the power band and just going up and down the rev range gentle like no problems up to now
