bosscat_0 Posted February 23, 2013 Share Posted February 23, 2013 I have aquired a V reg xj600 as a project bike but unfortunately the previous owner has cut off the rear of the frame ( I think he was intending to build a street fighter). Will the frame from an earlier model fit the bike or did they change frames from year to year? Any help or information will be appreciated. wild foamy Posted February 26, 2013 Share Posted February 26, 2013 from what i can remember, they changed from the XJ (pre-diversion) around 92/93, then it was the XJ600N and XJ600S (or the other way around, cant remember which one came first), best thing to do is find a donor bike that is as close to your bikes year as possible, cross-examine as many parts as you can to determine if your bike is the same Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
