I have just purchased for restoration a YDS3 frame and engine number D9-1347 believed to be circa 1965 to 1969, can anybody give me an exact year model or manufacture of this bike? It is a runner having had the engine fully rebuilt 8000 miles ago. It needs lots of t.l.c to get it back to original. Would appreciate any info on this.

    One of the nicest of the early yams. Quick enough to wake the soul and rare enough to be special.
