Posted February 18, 201312 yr i own a 94 seca 2 yamaha, i just got it, when i start it an tryh to fev p it cuts out extremely bad, and when it get warm only two headers are getting hot?? i need avice its my first bike
February 18, 201312 yr As you PM'd me Your bike is only running on 2 cylinders,,,,,,,, the 2 that are getting hot. You probably need to clean the carbs. What else is it doing When ya try and start it ? What have you done ? Does it start up easy as it is now ? How long has it been lying before you got it ? More details required
March 12, 201312 yr sounds very much like a faulty coil or possibly CDI unit. mine had a faulty coil. There are two coils, one runs cylinders 1 and 4, the other runs 2 and 3. that would be the first check I would make.........
