February 14, 201312 yr Author ah is that the cable that is attached to the front wheel? how will i know if it has broken sorry to be a bother.
February 14, 201312 yr Is the speedo in question from your DT? If so look at the speedo dial and locate the cable(s) coming from it. Follow the cables to where they end and closely look at them to see if there are any breaks in the cable. Also closely check where both ends connect.

February 21, 201312 yr Generally these things break at one end or the other, so unscrew each one and pull on the inner spine. If it comes out then it's broken, simple as! Next test is to unscrew both ends and turn one while observing the other. If the other end does not turn then it's also broken, simple as!
