im sure you can find a bearing that will fit even if its not specifically for wheels..

But id just use the tin can.
I dont think at 6bhp it will be the end of the world if you used a bearing for say a camshaft that fits instead of a wheel bearing.

got me bearings, but the spacer is 1mm too short between the bearings.

anyone got a shim 1mm thick, 12mm I/D and 18mm O/D?

cheers

I was hoping your spacer would be too long and all ya would have to do is skim it down a little on a bench grinder.

no such luck, but that's the way with abused 'peds. Always throw these little things at you and will soon be forgotten when something else crops up.

Surely you've got a box in the shed full of random washers? Or is that just me?

or

Still got that bit of Italian tin can?

I've an imperial washer 1mm x 10mm x 19mm, round file or dremmel out the bore, file the od?

tin can is fine, nice and tight :D out of all the washers I own. not one is the right size :(

I've now changed my mind, If i have a washer in there, it could move when I change the wheel or something. I think I will make a new spacer 1mm longer. thanks for the offer :thumb:
