i have not long bought my xj600 but when i took her out it has started cutting out it rides no problem then draggs back sounds like someone took exhaust off then cust out. any help would be great

How long has it been sitting , before you bought it, could be dirty carbs,

They did not say exactly thought it would be crap from tank when it first happened but has done it a few times now feel like I have bought a lemon

dina giv up on her, start with taking off fuel pipe, [ to see the flow] if thats good . remove the plugs, they"l tell you whitch is running ritch [ black] white/ tan= lean,. renew plugs anyway,, check plug caps too , , run it ,if no better , pull the carbs for inspection

Is it a vacuum operated fuel petcock? Is there a PRI position on it. If so, try running it in PRI

Would like to thank everyone for there help bike has now had full service turned out to be loose wire in coil pack and had a good ride out today was very surprised how well she goes :-) any idea if you can get panniers and rack for one of these ??

you can get panniers for them, although you would probably find rocking horse sh*t with hens teeth in it with less effort/money, there are mounting points for panniers in the tail unit which are blanked off with little plastic bungs, if fancy a bit of fabrication you could make a set, likewise with the rack
