slice Posted February 5, 2013 Share Posted February 5, 2013 Shambles, if you run the bike without the baffle in you will burn out the piston if you don't retime it, plus you need the back pressure to help the piston to actually go up and down, had a honda once upon a time and it sounded great for a while until the tops of the pistons fell off stick with hot water and detergent and if you want to keep it hot use a blow lamp on the silencer to keep it on the boil. Caustic soda was never that good. a good fire might ruin the chrome but sure did loosen the carbon in the exhaust We used to weld in a nut and use a slide hammer if the baffles wouldn't shift Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
