gregmilne234
I've got an 89 DT125r with a flatslide mikuni and i'm puzzled as to what the pipe to the right hand side of the venturi is for, on my bike it doesnt go anywhere. Ive had the carb apart and it appears to be part of the main jet circuit. Would just like to kno as i'm currently having a problem with my bike melting pistons (2 so far, but thats another story). If this link works you will see a pic of the pipe i'm on about http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/385238/ Cheers Greg
Admin Alex Posted August 31, 2005 Admin Share Posted August 31, 2005 Nothing wrong with that pipe, thats to stop fuel from pi$$ing down the side of the engine, an overflow pipe so to speak
gregmilne234
This aint no overflow pipe, i'm sure of that. Theres no mention of it in the haynes manual which is strange. Blocking it seems to have an effect on the engine.
