twiggyman Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Hi Everyone, Just found the forum and thought I'd post - I have just aquired a 1989 FZR600 US Model after a 5 yr lay off from bikes (usual story- kids, house etc), and I could do with any tips, info etc regarding this model. One thing I have noticed is my model has a square shaped red button between the speedo & rev counter - Pressing it appears to do nothing at all. Does anyone know what it is or what its supposed to do?? (The Haynes manual doesnt mention it as far as I can see) Cheers Twiggyman

Guest Exupnutta Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Hello and The switch could be for the reserve in the tank. You'll find out when you run out of fuel (like I did once )
