i there , i have an aerox yp 50 57 plate. I have just had the bike . When i had it it started no problem but the other day i had it ticking over and giveing it a few revs then i turn the bike off. Then i tried to start it but it wont fire up. The engine is spinning and i have check the spark plug . Can someone help? thanks

Nope checked the fule got half tank and the aint a fuel blockage as the spark plug was wet from the fuel where I have been trying to start it

take the sparkplug out and leave it out for 24 hours, try again after you have checked theres a spark

Just checked and the compression is very low ,could the pistion rings be the problem ?

yes of corse they could, you should do a compression test to verify what you have said

ok , do you know how i get the pistion out, iv looked online but carnt find out how ? and thanks for the help so far

Listen joe, I have no idea fella but dont rush into it just yet. Leaving the plug out overnight and then try again tomorrow, preferably with another plug...have you checked it's sparking?

yea mate checked the spark plug and its sparking proply but then i check the compression and its really low. So i think it must be something to do with the pistion.

so tell us how you checked the compression, what reading did you get?
