Posted December 23, 201212 yr Hi All, So finally got round to fitting a rad cover to my FZ8 to give it some protection. Can't make my mind up whether I like it on or not now. Any comments?
December 23, 201212 yr Moderator Paint it black or gold and it would be ok.... Or paint it black then highlight the fz8 in gold... Just my opinion though.
December 23, 201212 yr I think it looks nice as it is, but agree with Cynic on painting it black. Black would look more like it belongs there (IMO).

December 26, 201212 yr looks good Dan, just be careful when we get warmer weather - rad guards are prone to making bikes run a lot hotter/reduce fan efficiency.
December 27, 201212 yr Author Hmm considering black myself. Agreed - will keep an eye on the temp. watched it before when i fitted one to my XJ6, found there was a 4-5 degree increase in temperature.
