wild foamy Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 i broke a piston ring on my DT50 once and it dropped into the engine, i literally turned the bike upside down, gave it a shake and then counted the bits that fell out to make sure that they were all out, if you have the engine out of the bike its even easier, but seeing as it has "blown up" i would split the cases anyway and remove the fragmentation that has no doubt surely found its way into your sump
