flukemobile Posted December 2, 2012 Share Posted December 2, 2012 Picked up a '78 XS400E couple weeks ago. It is my first bike in 35 years and my first street bike ever. Have been busy with work and all but ordered some parts and supplies (cost = 2x what I paid for bike, ebay+paypal=easygo) in preparation along with devising a game plan.Tomorrow the fun begins the weather is going to be unseasonable milt for a few days and I am hoping to clean the tank and carbs, perform tune up, install mufflers and will video results of start up and running (optimistic) and post results.
