hi all

i have had my 1996 thundercat for just under 2 years now and for the past 4 months in my spare time i have been taking the engine apart and rebuilding it due to killing the gearbox...... after encountering a few other problems which have been overcome and managed i am now in the final stages of rebuild and the crank seems to be binding when its all built up. I am completely baffled i have taken apart and reassembled the top part of the engine multiple times to no avail. All i can say that the noise it makes when turned over is a grinding, rubbing sound and its coming from piston 3 area.... i think.
