Its exhaust works well but unlike most other dt models ive seen its silencer bends downwards as seen the photo. This i would like to change for solely aesthetic reasons This i was wondering if this can be changed, or what the effect of slicing it off as done by this person with a yamaha dt 250 would be Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dt175 Posted November 21, 2012 Author Share Posted November 21, 2012 Thanks for the feedback, i have removed it before but it appears to serve a functional purpose as it extends into the exhaust with a grated pipe that i assume acts a filter of some kind?
