They are cool and been used for the last 8 or so years on lots of cars here as a ign lock,, so even if you have the orignal key the car wont start. Untill you pass the transponder pass the reciver hidden wherever you choose.

i never thought about using it as a key less ign ,,that might be the "key" for my wr as it dosen't have one now as I transform it back to SM
